What happens in a Glo Reiki session?

During the session, you will be lying on a treatment table, fully clothed.   Reiki is offered through light touch with the practitioner's hands placed on or near the body.  Hand positions include the head, shoulders, abdomen, legs and feet.   Any special needs can be addressed as well.   Given that the work creates a state of deep relaxation, there is typically no conversation unless you have a question or request.

Reiki and Craniosacral work supports and heals by enhancing the vital energy flow through the body. As the energy moves along pathways called meridians, or through energy centers called chakras, it helps to clear blockages or constrictions.

What will I experience during a treatment?

Your body will relax. You may feel areas of warmth or tingling in your body or nothing at all.  Your mind will calm and you may experience a sensation of floating or a dream-like state.  You may even fall asleep.   Each person responds in their own way, and no two sessions are alike.   The energy flows no matter what you feel during the work.

What will I feel afterwards?

After a session, common sensations include: peacefulness, a clear mind and a heightened sense of well-being. Depending on what has been cleared during the work, you may also feel emotional, sleepy or lighter in your body. It is important to drink extra water for the next day or so to help continue any clearing.

Remember, the entrance to the sanctuary lives within you.

About Glo Bremer

My spiritual questions started in childhood when I sensed a mysterious quality behind day-to-day life.   From that first sense of the unknown, my journey has been enriched by the wisdom and teachings of the earliest mystics to the masters among us today.   Yoga, meditation, Tai Chi, and a strong intuitive voice helped to center me through my previous work in documentary filmmaking in New York City.

Now as a Reiki Master and Craniosacral practitioner in Bend, Oregon, the mystery of life shines through every moment.   This energy work is the foundation of my spiritual path. Helping people balance themselves, heal and connect to their inner wisdom brings me deep satisfaction and joy.   Beyond my private practice, I am a Reiki volunteer in the Cancer Center’s Integrative Health Program at St. Charles Hospital.

Whether on foot or on skis, my partner, Matthew and I spend much of our spare time in the wilds around Bend. Each new landscape calms the mind and restores the heart.
